Bury Them and Keep Quiet I is a performance video where one hundred single-handed gloves are set on fire. Simultaneously, a spectral figure attempts to destroy the evidence of the action by sweeping the ashes away and washing the floor. The artist collected the gloves from the streets of New York City during the winter of 2001.
