On the occasion of Carlos Motta’s participation in The Future Generation Art Prize 2014 exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine, Ukrainian journalist Maxim Ivanukha and Carlos Motta edited the timeline Brief History of Homosexual Repression in Ukraine, a listing of events from the 16th century until today that describe the ongoing repression of homosexuality in this country. The project was installed in public space in “city light” boxes throughout the city and distributed as a take-away poster in Ukrainian and English.
