GIGANTIC INTERVENTION, 2004
Originally installed at Gigantic Art Space, New York, 2004

Gigantic Intervention presents a stack of paper positioned on a shelf. Each sheet of the stack holds a different photograph from top news stories (downloaded throughout 2004 from major circulation online newspapers.) The images range from devastating pictures documenting violent actions to sportive events according to the day's current news story. Below the stack lie crumpled sheets of paper, which suggest that the viewer should "read" the story/sheet, crumple it and discard it, contributing to an accumulation of consumed information.
