Motta will speak about two recent projects: We Who Feel Differently, a solo exhibition and symposium that took place at the New Museum, New York; and Petite Mort: Recollections of a Queer Public (with Joshua Lubin -Levy), a book that assembles drawings, by over sixty gay men, from memories of spaces in New York City where public sexual encounters occurred. Rinder’s talk will include a discussion of the 1995 groundbreaking exhibition, In a Different Light, which he co-curated with Nayland Blake, who will provide an introduction to the event.
